As more Canadians are faced with the evolving nature of gender identity, gaps in the ways different groups view the subject are growing, according to a recent survey by the Angus Reid Institute.
This study is bullshit. According to the article 20% of people who identified as neither male nor female believed that only male and female are valid genders. Either that question was poorly written, or they were part of a massive trolling campaign and their data is garbage.

You want to be transgendered, fine but then you can stay out of the opposite sexes events as it is not fair for these people now.
I've never experienced a transgendered person "freak out" when called by their preferred pronoun.
I've also never seen a trans person try to participate in events as their gender assigned at birth after transitioning.
No but they freak out when they're not included in a M/F only events. They want their own titles then cry when they aren't included in something they want to be seperate from.

You don't understand the trans community because it sounds like most of your experience with the trans community has been filtered through far right ideas and talking points.
If you truly want to understand, talk to someone who is trans. Abandon the bad faith questions, and ask honest questions with an open mind. And don't assume the worst about someone you don't understand.

The fact that they want their own identies and also identify with M/F when it's convient for them to do so (athletes) is fucking annoying. Also if they look Male/Female, I'm not gonna go hey mix just to appease these people, I go, sir or mam. If you want to use this language amongst your group of friends fine. But don't freak out on random strangers to make your own segregation feel inclusive. It's fucking idiotic.
