    Elon Musk’s America PAC spent nearly $800,000 supporting Steel’s campaign and more than $500,000 opposing Tran, while the pro-cryptocurrency super PAC Fairshake spent roughly $2.8 million helping Steel.

    Steel really was a "for the people" type of candidate. /s
