I'm really not sure where to begin with this one, so I'm just going to lay it out and then try to explain later: A recent update to Zenless Zone Zero made it impossible to get a good look at character's asses, and the blowback was so fierce developer MiHoYo reverted the change less than a day later.

Even simply noting that there are a non-zero number of perverts who want to dress up as girls to hang out in the women's bathroom will get you crucified here (as I expect will happen for saying it), but men who like looking at fictional women in a game deserve scorn and ridicule. Try actually taking a moment and considering what that means about the real motivations in play here.

Nothing about that comment had anything to do with trans people. He was talking about literal perverts. Not trans individuals. As indicated by his qualifier of "non-zero number of people" -- clearly referring to someone with the intent of using the rules in their favor, while not being a part of that class of individuals.
This is an incidence of someone basically going "And the murder weapon was a cast iron pan!!", and someone random in the crowd yelling "WHY ARE YOU TARGETTING ME!!??!" even though nobody suspected them in the first place.
