I still think it's fucking hilarious that they tried to make him look like National Threat No. 1 but ended up creating one of the most badass photos of 2024 instead.
I get the point but "criminal" isn't a moral label. Cops are monsters even if they don't break the law. Similarly, if Luigi did it, that means he committed a crime but it still doesn't make him the villain.
The world needs more Robin Hoods and Ishikawa Goemon. Given increasing inequity and corruption without any real hope at a systemic level, Material conditions are right for the return of the outlaw hero, I think.
I am not a court. I don't have to have a trial to believe in somebody's guilt. According to the evidence I have seen it appears he shot a man to death.
