NGL I dig the shark icon a hell of a lot

Saw suggestions for the icon before, actually really cool it got official!

I only tangentially see 196 content on Lemmy, I’m old, barely understand it but enjoy it; can someone explain like I’m 5 what’s happened here to cause 196 to change to onehundredninetysix?
- The 196 mods had some disagreements with the blahaj admins which made them leave to .world which many people saw critical who stayed on blahaj and made this onehundredninetysix thing.

- they botched a move to lemmy.world , then bifurcated.

I never really got what the old sub's icon was supposed to represent tbh
