- I don't think he's ever been charged, this is just the result of the police investigation into the allegations that were raised in the Channel 4 documentary a few years ago.

The important word here is "charged". He hasn't been convicted. Until it's been proven, I don't think anybody here can claim to know that he's innocent nor guilty.
- He's a right wing grifter with a history of shitty behavior and multiple allegations going back years. I feel confident in my assessment of Russell Brand as a worthless piece of shit. Unless you're a court of law you don't owe him the benefit of doubt.
  
  That's your opinion. Him being an asshole or not is neither proof (nor lack thereof) of his guilt. And if you know for sure he's a rapist, submit the proof to the court. The alleged victims would be very happy to have it.

- It’s logically possible that he’s innocent, but, all evidence considered, it’s not terribly likely.
  It’s somewhat more likely that he’ll walk, though rich, well-connected dudes have a way of evading consequences.

  You ain't wrong but if police actually filing charges now, I am guessing there is enough evidence for prosecution to feel confident about taking to trial.
