Kernel will still be orphaned junk though and it has a modem. Maybe if Fairphone has the rights to the datasheets they cannot disclose, they could at least give a deterministic way to disable and verify that the cell modem is off. Still, connecting it to the internet is a no-go with an orphaned kernel.
