We've got some chicken pieces marinating in some Korean sweet chilli sauce we picked up at Costco. Doing that on the barbie, pairing with some salad, sourdough and a few beers.
Lamb roast is going in the oven shortly. It's been ages since I've done one of these, I'm pretty excited. Lots of roast veg to go with it, smothered in gravy.
That puts the whole single sausage on a slice of bread concept to shame. A much better sausage to bread ratio, and of course bacon makes everything better.
We tried out the local fish and chips last night. The chips were great, the fish was fine. The batter was too much though. Willing to give them another shot.
