It’s not really suprising. They are the ones that directly border russia.
(Norway and Sweden don’t but they are right next to Russia by sea and Russian Navy regularly sails into their waters and bullies them.)
Ah, sweet. I believe Finland joined Nazis after the winter war. Fascinatingly enough, during the winter war, the country that was on the side of Nazis was ... Soviet Union!

Finland stood pretty much alone against Russia at least compared to the support Ukraine has gotten and has.
I am not discussing Finland specifically, but this point needs to be raised. How was the USSR any better than the Nazis?
They Soviets organized the Holodomor, mass starvation of million of Ukrainians.
I believe Stalin killed more soviet civilians than the Nazis.
The Soviet Union (especially pre-Khrushev) was an atrocious entity. This includes both Stalin, Lenin and the people who ruled in between. They are monsters.
The Soviets even collaborated with Nazis in the first two years of WW2.
The double-genocide "theory" is commonly pushed by right wing eastern European governments to cover up their own crimes of collaborating and participating in the German occupation and the Holocaust.

It was after winter war which happened in 1939. Finland was allied with nazi Germany from 1940 to 1944
The winter war was largely independent as I understand. Finland took all aid since they got invaded. Nazi Germany had given Finland to the USSR zone of influence.
