You see, the artist is trying to express their frustration with the process. "There is no joke" because we are the joke. We are the frog, putting on our clothes to drag ourselves through the day-to-day, never taking in the absurdity of our situations, of trying to get through.
I get it, but maybe dont post just to be posting? The internet misses you, but it will get along OK without you for a day or two while you think of something relevant to anything.
Tom, you deeply misunderstand.
I post out of necessity.
I post to fill the gargantuan void in my being, created by self-loathing and a massive inferiority complex.
I post out of soul crushing boredom.
I post for the respite my memes offer to millions of introverts, who would rather light themselves on fire, than attend another office meeting
I post to shout into the abyss, and to tell it that it cannot have my soul, my creativity, or the surrender of my will just yet.
Oh shit. I would give you my usual "Sorry for being a dick, I had a few too many last night" but that was actually kind of inspiring. In this case I'm glad I drew something beautiful from tour soul by being a douche.
