Congratulations, you have won! Most votes and definitely the most original mask. I love how even the little zigzag of his hair is included in the mask.
It's your turn to post the next challenge, looking forward to what it will be!
Here’s an image of my own. Of course I’m excluded from being able to win. I just like to participate.
Prompt: cyberpunk style, illustration, panoramic shot, Cyberpunk traditional pagan mask, worn by shopkeeper, shopkeeper is leaning on the counter, in an antiquities store --stylize 75 --v 5.2 --ar 4:3
Black and white close-up photo of the king of autumn's mask. The moss, twigs, and feathers are displayed in intricate detail, revealing the texture and patterns. The mask's elements seem to come alive, with every strand of moss and feather visible, giving a sense of depth and dimension.
You can only submit one image for the challenge. As much as I like both of them, could you please remove one?
You can post the removed one as a reply to your original comment if you still like to show it off, that’s fine. The original comment will be the one that counts for the challenge.
Bing prompt: post apocalyptic world setting, steam punk mask made with bronze and silver trimming, a worn out top hat with a mouse coming out of a door near the top
Hard choice between two it made, but I'm going with this one.
The comfyui Workflow is also embedded in this picture, you will have to install several custom extensions to make this work:

This is a quite interesting workflow as you can generate relatively long animations.
You draw the Motions of your character from a video. For this one i googled "dancing girl" and took one of the first i´ve found:
You can draw single images from the Video into comfyui. for this one i´ve skipped the first 500 Frames and took 150 Frames to generate the animation. The single images are scaled to the Resolution 512x512. This gives me a initial set of pictures to work with:
Via the openpose prepocessor you can get the Poses for every single image:
This can be fed to the openpose controlnet to get the correct pose for every single animation. Now we have following problem. We are all set with the Poses, but we also need a set of latent images which have to go trough the ksampler. The solution is to generate a single 512x512 latent image and blend it with every single VAE encoded Picture of the Video to get an empty latent image for every Frame:
We get a nice set of empty latents for the sampler:
then we let the ksampler together with the animate diff nodes and controlnet do its magic and we get a set of images for our animation ( The number of possible images seems to be limited by your system memory. i had no problem with 100, 150, 200, 250 images and have not tested higher numbers yet. I could not load the full video):
Last step is to put everthing together with the video combine node. You can set the frame rate here. 30 FPS seems to produce acceptable results.:
That's awesome work! You're getting better and better at this :)
It's too bad the embedding doesn't seem to work so well, maybe someone else has a solution for this?
I´ve tried to implement Loras in the Workflow and a face detailer to strengthen the lora effect. the Results are quite interesting (low quality comes from the webm format):
Its all a bit trial and error right now. this animation took about 20 Minutes on my machine. I would love to do some more tests with different models and embeddings or even loras but unfortunately my time for this is somewhat limited.
I love to do the contests to test new things out :-)
Visions for the future:
If you could get a stable output for the background and the actors (maybe Loras?) you could "play out" your own scenes and transform them via stable diffusion to something great. thinking of epic fight scenes, or even short anmation films.
This whole stable diffusion thing is extremly interesting and in my opinion a game changer like the introduction of the mobile phone.
Photorealistic image of a porcelain mask representing a barn owl. The porcelain is glazed with a rich shade of purple, giving it a lustrous finish. Instead of traditional feathers, the mask boasts meticulously cut amethyst gemstones, each resembling the form of a feather. These gemstone feathers glisten in varying shades of purple, harmonizing with the glazed porcelain. The mask's facial details are accentuated with golden gilding, and the eyes emit a mesmerizing gold glow, standing out against the purple backdrop.
I decided to make a matching robe, similar to what @ricecake@sh.itjust.works did with their matching armor.
Prompt:
Photorealistic image of a wizard's robe in a captivating lavender hue. The robe's velvet fabric glimmers subtly, reminiscent of enchanted porcelain. Its trim is uniquely adorned with amethyst gemstones meticulously cut to resemble delicate feathers, each glowing with a variety of lavender shades, suggesting a mystical origin. The robe is richly embroidered with golden threads, creating patterns of arcane symbols and ancient lore across its surface. It features dramatically wide sleeves and a high, pointed collar, elements that are emblematic of a wizard's dignified attire.
I said it before, but I really wish there was a zoom-in button in Lemmy (using the website). The details really make your mask shine.
Also, I really really love the matching robe. Too bad it wasn't part of the challenge.
One of these days you're going to have to share your prompt. I am curious what you use to get these results (though part of me thinks it might be better not to know :)
I know it's originally meant for Midjourney, but would still like to share this link for those of us looking for some inspiration. The many masks of Midjourney
Fine art black and white photograph focusing solely on the mask worn by the king of autumn. The emphasis is on the interplay of light and shadow across the mask's organic materials. The twigs form a delicate lattice, while the moss and feathers add layers of complexity and texture.
My first go at an AI image was the other day on the Your username is the prompt post which was great fun....I've only got access to the free webpage generators so this is my effort
'vibrant tribal mask inspired by dinosaurs and adorned with feathers'
Thank you for the mask! It's a good first effort and I hope you'll continue to contribute!
I haven't used it myself, but I think the Bing Image Creator is free as well and it has a much better quality. Maybe you can try it out and see if it works for you?
Fine art black and white photograph of the king of autumn. The image emphasizes textures and tones, with the moss, twigs, and feathers of the mask rendered in sharp detail. The surroundings are kept simple and uncluttered, allowing the king's presence to dominate the frame. Subtle gradients and soft lighting add to the atmospheric and evocative nature of the portrait.
