I don’t know why people love her so much, all she does is perpetuate this shitty style of politics. Why can’t they talk like grown-ups?

You say that like this doesn't. She's not teaching them a lesson or anything, she's just engaging them on their level.
What it does do that's good is get people who are sick of the crazies engaged in the situation instead of just ignoring it.
Ignoring it just means that there's no counter-narrative hitting people, and it skews the perception of balance
I absolutely fucking hate it that it has to be like this, but there it is. Imagine being a lightning rod for all that weaponized ignorance and mental illness. It's an unpleasant, stinky task, but if somebody's gotta do it, I'm glad people of character and caliber like AOC are out there doing it.

Yea that's what we need. We've been getting cucked hard because we play by the rules and refuse to stoop to their level. I wouldn’t consider myself a progressive but AOC is the best among her peers when it comes to messaging with younger Americans. Perhaps this is the future of politics. Maybe it’s just a phase. Regardless, she’s good at it

Uhhh no. Let’s be real, you’re looking at this with the same level of clarity that MAGA losers look at things. They think liberals are communists. You think democratic socialists are neoliberals. Just because someone doesn’t adhere to an ideology 100% of the time doesn’t make them not what they really are. We don’t have the same intel they have when they make their decisions. All we know is that after the votes are tallied, we can take a look at their voting records and plot them all on a chart. She is by no means in the same quadrant as moderate democratic and the remaining, near extinct moderate republicans who are firmly in the neoliberal one.
For what it's worth, she's pretty good at cutting through the noise and explaining issues in an accessible way. There ARE moments like this but she seems to do good for her constituents. I don't live in the area and I don't know that much about her, but that's the feeling I got
