- How did it feel? Assuming you where old enough to understand and either way how does it feel looking back? I can't imagine anything that would bring 25% of my country together like this
  
  It was strange. The smell of freedom lurking just around the corner mixed up with fear of repercussions.
  
  I think a lot of it was fueled by the incompetence of the soviets. They hadn't left much for the people to lose - it would work the same in any country, I imagine.
  
  I agree, that is an amazing thing to be part of. Would love to hear more.
