because it released in between Splatoon 3 and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet (and to a lesser extent, Bayonetta 3.)
Ubisoft did what EA did with Titanfall 2 (Titanfall 2 was released inbetween Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
it was primed to fail at the start., just to make "holiday targets"
