Same and when I am hiking I also turn on “Do Not Disturb “ mode. It infuriates my spouse, but oh well. 🤷♂️
You can set Do Not Disturb to ignore certain numbers. Consider adding your spouse lol

Ive had the same conversation with my mom after she complained about me texting after bed time. She just refused to accept that so I just stopped texting her after 8pm to be safe
