Three Dogs Are Rebuilding Chilean Forests Once Devastated By Fire

Three Border Collies have been trained to run through the damaged Chilean forests with special backpacks that release native plant seeds.

My first thought was when will drones take all the jobs from dogs, but they answered the important question

While robots or drones might be able to disperse seeds too, dogs aren’t as pricey to handle. Most importantly, they leave a lighter carbon footprint.

Maybe we can find a way for drones to poop in the forest too, so they have a similar carbon footprint!
