Dead Space 2 remake was reportedly in development, but not any more due "lacklustre sales" of the first game.

Despite the original Dead Space getting the remake treatment, the same isn't happening for its sequel, at least not now.

Dead Space just can't catch a break.
They brought it back to life, just to kill it. Again!?

EA is the worst kind of necromancer.
That sucks I want a marvel game like I want back pain, as in not at all. Dead space was such an interesting world and idea.
- I agree but like, maybe we can get a new game instead of a remake.
What I really wanted to buy was Dead Space 4.
The remake was fine, but personally I didn't understand the praise it got for basically being a slightly prettier version of the original. I want new Dead Space!
