Unnecessary inventions guy... Now a TikTok ad?
Been on Lemmy since day -5 of the API fiasco. Was excited to recognize the unnecessary inventions guy while scrolling, only to be super disappointed when I realized it was a TikTok ad! ☹️

Even tho I use Jerboa and don't see ads on Lemmy, I saw TikTok ads with other well known faces on other apps/sites. TikTok using prominent peoples content for ads is definetly a thing.
Why are you seeing ads? I don't understand... Aren't we all here to avoid that?
