New Details on Valve's New Game 'Deadlock'
Insider Gaming has been given new details on Valve's new game named Deadlock, which is believed to be released sometime in 2025.
This is the first time I haven't been excited for a Valve game :(

For a whole 2 second when they revealed it, and then..
it's just another game they will abandon like artifact and underlords.
Valve, when are you gonna figure out that people just want more TF2, Portal, CS, L4D, HL, and maybe DoD? Like, I guess at least you've recently released a CS and HL game, but what about the others? TF2 seems like it's been on life support while Portal and DoD are completely forgotten.
I'm ok with how Valve is doing things right now. If they followed the same path of EA, Blizzard, and every other big developer from the 90s/00s we'd be on HL5, L4D9 Left for Deadest, TF 3 but it's a live service on season 15 and constant price increases on the season passes.
Let them experiment and dip their toes into new game types.
I prefer them trying out new shit and see what sticks. Everything is a sequel nowadays.
Wasn't there a free new portal game that dropped like last month?
If you mean the one that has 40 new puzzles and new story content, that's a mod, and doesn't have Valve's involvement.

Yeah, hero based-shooters haven’t been good since that one with the dumb name that came out in 2007. What was it called again? Squad Castle 2 or something?
It's a 6v6 hero shooter with shades of DotA.
