Hello Everyone! A lot has changed in the years since No Man’s Sky released. There’s so much we love about the game now, but there was something unique at release in how alone you felt in the universe. Going further back I have great memories of early unreleased versions of No Man’s Sky where there.....
Surprised nobody has posted about the new expedition. I learned about the last one from Lemmy, so I'm returning the favor in case someone else learns about it from me.
Yeah I think I heard about it from my steam client, but it should be here too so thanks!
I just finished it a couple of days ago. It was one of the few that didn't get me super frustrated at times, although that may be partly thanks to the many people out there making very tall bases. (Thanks to you all!)
It was also the first one I tried doing from my main save (didn't know you could do that before I started the last one because I found out about the expedition when I started my game). Took a little planning but it was nice to be able to use one of my ships and multi-tools, as well as take home a couple of salvaged frigate modules.
And since I'm here, I'd like to also thank those that leave cool messages at the rendezvous points. Many of them are nice to read!
I just got back into NMS since it's release tbh.
Are you saying you moved freighters between your expedition save and your main save?
If so how, and is there a way to move the ship you start in the expedition with?
Not move exactly, but you can "duplicate" your last current ship and multi-tool between your saves going into and coming out of the expedition. No freighters though. So just make sure that the ship and MT you want to have access to "on the other side" is the one that is currently selected before you go to the expedition terminal. They will have all the tech, but your ship's cargo won't be duplicated. You can move cargo though in a different part of the terminal.
I picked up this game about a year ago and played for about 4 hours. Never made it off my starting planet. Kid wanted to play it and had me hooked again.
