Here are my currently active ones (verified):
- Sprint by Default, Hold to Walk: simply useful.
- Closer Promotion Terminal: adds a promotion terminal in your room.
- Death Marker: hovering hologram over downed dwarves. Useful to prioritize a class based on the situation.
- SimpleQOL: default hazard level and nice sorted list of missions. Waiting for some features but still good.
- Advanced Darkess: not sure about this one, solves a few glitches for me, but makes the caves a bit too dark.
- Ammo Percentage Indicator Extended: useful to avoid wasting resupplies.
- Silent Born Ready: removes those voicelines.
For those times we are too many I host with More Players Balanced, which however is only approved.
No mods for me, I love vanilla. But those mods do seem like good choices. Either way: Rock and Stone!
5 0 ReplyNope. I can see why those mods might be nice, but I'm okay without them.
Although, I think I would like a mod to highlight when I have 4 flares.
5 0 ReplyWell maybe I will now I was just thinking that I was tired of holding shift but at first glance couldn't see a option for it in options.
3 0 ReplyI use the Combined Resources (verified!) mod so I could identify how many resources our team currently has in our pockets for the mission. Very useful for checking if we have enough objectives, or if we could drop nitra soon.
3 0 ReplyI decided to disable it because it removed some team communication from the game, which for me is part of the fun.
2 0 Replyperfectly valid reason to remove it! I'll admit that it does reduce the amount of chatting that goes around in games.

A few of the fun mods I use:
Punch Animation for Pickaxe Power Attack: Replaces the normal power attack animation with a punch
R2D2 Scream - Goo Bomber SFX: Replaces goo bomber death sound with R2D2's scream
Googly Glyphids: I used this to give all the glyphids sunglasses
