Hospital administration being indistinguishable from organized crime example #984207953

These same jokers pretty much crashed the 3rd largest health system in Massachusetts by buying up the hospital then selling off the assets and property and renting them back.

  • So many people will read about shit like this, rightfully decry our healthcare system, and continue identifying as capitalist.

    • Then they end up in a nursing home that understaffs and rations wet wipes to save money. shrug-outta-hecks

edit: And that specific one I'm thinking of charged $3700/month for the cheapest bed with 1:20-1:60 nurse:patient ratios.

  • “There is the impression from the outside that in the United States there is scrutiny in most sectors, so having one of the largest private hospital operators in the United States with one of the main private equity funds as their backers, I couldn’t see the problem,” said Muscat.

  • Fuckin' Steward man

My partner went to a Steward hospital for an ultrasound and it's been about three years, never sent the records to her doctor or anything

We're both glad we don't have to deal with them anymore
