  • Yeah, Codeberg's UI is almost the same as github, its good tbh.

P.S. i came to the conclusion that codeberg/github UI is good, when i went to sourcehut. Holy crap, my mind couldnt comprehend what am i looking at. (Could be a skill issue tho)

  • It looks like we'll soon be welcoming a lot of new Linux users here
  • For windows you dont need to buy it, you can activate it using microsofts own tools, its on github (dont remember its name right now.)

As for linux, i would recommend openSUSE Tumbleweed, it is fresh, and the best part about it is that whenever you update the system, it creates a snapshot, so if the update had some kind of undesired sideeffects, you can just startup the old version. (These snapshots only effect the system's packages, your apps will keep their state iirc. My brother uses tumbleweed and he is very content with it.)

  • Why I Lost Faith in Kagi
  • Yeah kind of, but the CEO needs to learn that not everyone will like their products, you cant convince everyone.

The person said that they dont want to engage with the discussion, then the CEO should have just let it be.

  • Smart devices are turning out to be a poor investment
  • I actually dont understand why news and such written blogs stopped with sponsors. I dont want tracking pixels, autoplaying videos and all that bullshit. Have a static small paragraph with a referral link, thats it.

For example on adventofcode, there was a static ad for spotify job application. This is an ad which i can advocate for. Creator of the site gets money, the ad is not intrusive, and it targets programmers who would just naturally navigate to this site.

  • Best options for prints handling high levels of humidity

    Hello everyone!

I was asked to print someone a case which would be placed in a bathroom and my question is:

What would be the best filament option for it? (We have PLA and PETG currently.)

Some general questions relating to this:

    • How long does PLA last indoors?
    • How does PETG & PLA in particular handle humidity after being printed?

    Thank you guys in advance!
