  • the devs of lemmy are already working on it full time. they're not the ones who do most of the moderation work.

the thing i've always hated about most people outside ml is that they always make assumptions, not even wondering if what they're saying might be false. if you're gonna be prissy about something, at least get your facts straight.

edit: sorry about the last paragraph. i just supposed that you were making stuff up because i couldn't find the modlog, but didn't know any better.

  • that hexbear supports the entirety of russia. a lot of times i hear stuff like "they don't actually care about queer people since they support russia", which is a gross oversimplification of their views. they hate russia's reactionary politics.

this misconception i think comes from the war in ukraine, in which if ukraine wins, they get to join nato. hexbear considers nato to be an imperialistic organisation that holds power towards a large portion of the world, and therefore, anything that opposes it should receive support, albeit critical.

  • the first step to help with a disorder is to stop demonisation.

stop calling every dislikeable person a narcissist. you don't need to be a narcissist to be an asshole.

people who are victims of abuse, done by people with cluster B disorders or not, often develop these disorders. they don't seek help for it or admit it tho, because is it seen as "the abuser" disorder.

finally, people can have cluster B traits without being cluster B themselves. same with every other personality disorder. we need to stop armchair diagnosing people, especially on the internet.

  • I had them blocked for misogyny, no wonder lol

  • I think it's someone who is actually extroverted, but do to being cast out as "weird", is now reluctant to talk to people despite their extraversion, and therefore thinks they're introverted.

This describes my case perfectly. I am extroverted, but due to people finding me weird, I was scared of talking to people, and mistook it for introversion. I am now way more outgoing than before once I figured it out, and people care a bit less about you being weird if you're likeable once you're older.

  • ngl I don't think it has much to do with narcissism, but more with control. I have autism and sometimes, I think some activities I try to do are ruined because I can no longuer control how I do them.

  • smooth!
