Sure, that's great and all, but the creator of the Gif says the wrong way to say it so... the creator is not always right.
Nothing you said was inaccurate but I don't see how a meme saying 'both sides are the same' helps anyone.
It's disingenuous to act like Biden stopping the rail union from hitting the economy during a recovery is the same as Trump or DeSantis or anyone else completely removing the ability from everyone to collectively organize.
I'm sorry you don't like Biden but, we've always had to vote for the lesser of two evils. It's that way EVERY election. If you want to change that, we need ranked choice voting and proportional representation, not staying home on election day.

Yeah the party that supports unions is just the same as the party that doesn't.
These are all off a step. Embryonic Robert would be Oreo thins.
I deeply hope that this will be like ye olde 'Ron Paul 2012!’ which you can still find in the deep places of the net.
I've used Sync, Thunder, and Voyager and Voyager is the best by far.
It looks like you edited out calling us Lemmings and I came here to say, LEMMINGS IS OUR DEMONYM. ✊ Lemming Power!
I've thought this was the case for awhile now but there is some push back to this line of thought these days.
Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren't Growing Up Abigail Shrier Swift Press, Feb 27, 2024 - Social Science - 288 pages From the author of Irreversible Damage, an investigation into how mental health overdiagnosis is harming, not helping, children
'A pacy, no-holds barred attack on mental health professionals and parenting experts ... thought-provoking' Financial Times
'A message that parents, teachers, mental health professionals and policymakers need to hear' New Statesman
In virtually every way that can be measured, Gen Z's mental health is worse than that of previous generations. Youth suicide rates are climbing, antidepressant prescriptions for children are common, and the proliferation of mental health diagnoses has not helped the staggering number of kids who are lonely, lost, sad and fearful of growing up. What's gone wrong?
In Bad Therapy, bestselling investigative journalist Abigail Shrier argues that the problem isn't the kids – it's the mental health experts. Drawing on hundreds of interviews with child psychologists, parents, teachers and young people themselves, Shrier explores the ways the mental health industry has transformed the way we teach, treat, discipline and even talk to our kids. She reveals that most of the therapeutic approaches have serious side effects and few proven benefits: for instance, talk therapy can induce rumination, trapping children in cycles of anxiety and depression; while 'gentle parenting' can encourage emotional turbulence – even violence – in children as they lash out, desperate for an adult to be in charge.
Mental health care can be lifesaving when properly applied to children with severe needs, but for the typical child, the cure can be worse than the disease. Bad Therapy is a must-read for anyone questioning why our efforts to support our kids have backfired – and what it will take for parents to lead a turnaround.

I only have allergies in late summer
After a year, does that mean we're full fledged lemmings and no longer redfugees?
Did Myst come to PS5 a few years ago? It was on Game Pass at that time. Nostalgia 10/10
Well I wasn't counting dropping kids off at school or daycare, which is the opposite direction. I often walk.
I have a horrendous 2 min drive to work each day. #fuckcities
'Two of a kind' means a pair that are just alike. It does not speak to the commonality of the item or persons.
I've been cleaning out my drive and photos lately because I've been on the edge of having no storage for a year. I removed A LOT of photos yesterday and now I am again out of storage.
Upon investigation, 'Device Backup' is now taking up a third of my storage space. Delving into that further, MMS messages backup is taking up 6 gb total.
I do not have Google One.
I don't see any way to remove the MMS without deleting the entire backup.
Anyone have experience with this?

This comes up everytime I open vanced. I've followed the link and started to follow the instructions but I don't have that app installed (under that name) so I cannot disable the optimizations. I'm pretty sure I did install it but it's not listed in apps.
I always have trouble figuring out how to share because of this weird icon. Can we have the default android share icon please?
I thought we were all one big federated family but I don't have a deep knowledge of how it all works. I'd like to follow accounts like lowqualityfacts and Georgetakei but I can't seem to find them by searching.
Hello lemmings, I'm hoping you can help me find the perfect app for Lemmy browsing. In the before times, I used Relay for years on the old subs. Since I migrating I primarily used Sync, which is fine, but I cannot create an alt account login in it on lemmynsfw. I also have used Thunder, which I like but account switching is painful and it takes several minutes for communities to load when switching between accounts.
What's the best app for me? One with mod controls would also be helpful.
Edit: Whoops I left out the important stuff. Mobile, and Android, FOSS preferred
When I go to the Everything feed, or any other feed, I cannot open Instances. It slides up then immediately back down and says failed to load.
I don't think I've ever had Workspace and yet when I try to open a drive document that was emailed to me, I get this: >We are sorry, but your 14-day trial for Google Workspace has ended. Please subscribe in order to continue using Google Workspace.
I just tried to open Drive from the same email account and I get the same message. This is a business account. Is there any resolution to this?
The best feature of Relay for Reddit was that every post above your scroll got marked as read, whether you clicked it or not. So whenever you would refresh, you wouldn't see the same stories you had just scrolled by. If that is currently a feature, I'm missing how to make it happen? Any ideas?
That's the only thing that's giving me issues moving over here. Yesterday was my first day and I like it, except for having to scroll past everything multiple times. I'd been on Reddit for years and observed the blackout, returning after. They recently forced Relay to have a pay model, ad supported didn't cut it, so I just uninstalled for good and moved on.
