Most people fawn over the interiors and amenities of a superyacht, but the most underrated aspect is the silhouette of a luxury vessel, which can leave a

time is a flat circle. we're doomed to have observant people point obviously and painfully ironic flaws in society, as society just sort of carries on anyway, repeating past stupidities and adding new ones.
I hate this person so much.
The National Owners Association said franchisees, suppliers and McDonald’s “must engage to support our California McFamily”
very, very few. interestingly, of the extremely small number of examples I can think of, they're all on the republican side. like, a few of them are legitimately golf buddies, go on vacation together, their kids are friends, etc. on the Democrat side, I really can't think of anyone I've known over the years who has legitimate, non-transactional friendships.
When party elites look at President Joe Biden, they see the second coming of Franklin D. Roosevelt. When voters view the president, many see an old man.
Also, the irony of the US pointing at China and saying things like "the party picks the leaders", "it's not a real democracy" etc etc.
You WILL vote for Biden and you WILL like it!
this is the car Homer designed in that Simpsons episode. Musk is literally as smart as Homer Simpson.
I like that this was published in 2020, before he ran for president and we acknowledged that he's a moderate (read: conservative), rather than pretending he's ultra progressive or some bullshit.
I was taught this at one point (though I'm not Christian), but isn't the existence of such a gate irrelevant since the meaning of the phrase is unchanged? Like, either way, the point is that a camel is too big to get through the thing.
post better bait next time. this is way too obvious.

"And that's all I have to say about that."
We have the best system, folks. Truly the greatest.
Scalia scoffed. “You’re telling me the Pope has been wrong for centuries?”
Basically just another account showing how fundamentally stupid and broken the US system is, and how dumb and bad the people running things are.
I think a lot of it depends on your personal situation. For some immunocompromised people, the risk may be legitimately higher. And so in terms of it being "just like the flu", I think it's maybe more of a realization for people in those groups that it probably would have been a good idea to wear a mask in crowded public places before covid too, to protect against things like the flu. Masking has long been common in East Asia.
Thoughts on the use of geographic domains for vanity purposes? I know that's come up recently as a topic of concern (including with lemmy, specifically), and personally, it seems like it's both extremely widespread and also maybe shouldn't have become super widespread given the actual implications.
I'll allow it
Stan, since you're probably here, please don't doxx me.
