Probably going to work. Just another company trying to wring money from their user base since they can't reasonably grow. So many people were like "oh I'm cancelling Netflix if I can't share it" and then it was record sign ups for them and overall more money.
They are doing this right before The Boys comes back on and somewhat during Invincibles part 2 airing. People will be annoyed and pay the upcharge.
And like me pirating those still won't change much since I already was.

You could say that about any pet snake really, but as long as you're a good snake owner it's not a big risk. They eat once every week or two on a schedule and the general rule of thumb is don't cuddle with them when it's feeding day. Feed them in a special container that's only association and purpose is feeding.
After a bit of that they catch on and you can dangle your hand in their face all you want. They'll understand you are the food source and not a threat. Then you get to chill with them, since they are cold blooded they like cuddlinga with your warmth quite a bit. It's another rule of safety just don't let them get a coil around something like a leg or what have you.
Snakes are cool pets just pretty high maintenance. I could see this snake being even more lazy since it's so big, but moving it has to be a two man job.
I'm sure too people will be like "oh but you played 40 hours! It can't be that bad" but the first 10-15 are misery from a gameplay perspective, like you're just trying to level up to get more carrying capacity and get more combat options.
I got an uno reverse sticker (Etsy), and it's just endless compliments lol. Like to the point I'm like "I know I know" but the initial confusion on people is still hilarious. Like "did this mf really just hand me an uno reverse?"

Idk you'd probably get these weird try hard fans who start a discord to figure out which theater is playing which ending and start traveling to see them all in person and claim they are real fans. Then get incredibly aggressive over Twitter about it all and at least a decent amount of people would go see it a second time just to experience it.
Like those weirdos who pay thousands of dollars to go to the same spot in Disney land every day for two weeks and gets to be hyped in the discord/reddit because "I've been riding this ride every day for my vacation and it finally happened guys. I was there and Cumbumblelan came out and did the Cumbumblelan ride intro!!! Worth it!" And then people are demanding a time so they can find some pattern so hopefully they can see Cumbumblelan when they are there on vacation and can vlog it.

I find Windows way more egregious, it will allow you to set it but not really, half of anything you do will open edge and then they'll occasionally reset your default browser with bugger updates.
Yeah, I was lucky to get the crazy ass unemployment during covid like week one. And I was applying to jobs but not hearing shit back. I had essentially four months of making more money than I had at that point. ($900 a week is pretty goddamn good) and wanted a job super bad lol. Like I was definitely picky but a good fulfilling job can't be beat. You can only do hobbies so long before you're doing them to fill time and they loose luster.
Ended up learning programming in that time and started that as a career and am doing incredibly well. So I do love my job and know I'd rather do that than nothing
There's a shortage of it. They cant produce enough of it right now. So pretty prolific. Also it's an injection.
But there's online services that will let you get it for weight loss for like $200 a month and practically no push back because they are operating in a weird online pharmacy grey market. The Verge just did a big article about it. But that worked so well that company isn't doing it anymore because they caused a shortage and can't supply themselves.

This happens so many times. I'm a pretty firm believer in walking away for 15 minutes is a crucial part of the debugging process. It's just hard sometimes to know when to stop and stop trying shit for a bit.
Also rubber duck debugging, I'll talk to my dog but fuck it works so many times. Shes helpful.
Since we are all pirates moving away from Reddit I was thinking if another r/Megalinks style community could be made on Lemmy and survive? (Or pehaps already exists?)
For those that don't know Reddit pirate history, r/megalinks was a sub where people shared links to megaupload usually for files for download. It was a very unique hub and usually had some rare stuff that downloaded quickly thanks to the uploaded service not being p2p. I actually still have a full back up of it that I'll check for stuff I can't find and they'll still be working.
But as Reddit got bigger posts kept getting hit with takedown requests until Reddit itself got sick of it and banned the community. Eventually the community there made Snahp, which is very good but it's private status makes it feel a bit small compared to the old megalinks sub in terms of available options.
Posting links is sort of a strange grey area, even more so than torrent hosting, But idk what the reality of having a community like that would be. Sure an instance owner can say "I won't care" but if it gets too big and the MPAA starts getting pissy, it might not be worth it to them. But with Lemmy's growth and services like Debrid existing now, it would be better than torrenting for the most part. (I also use UseNet yes, but it's not great for old or aging content)

Spider-Man performs very well in multiple decks like High Evolutionary lockdown and Galactus. We want to avoid these kinds of playstyles being too powerful as they are frustrating to play against, so we’ve decided to adjust Spider-Man to limit his play in combos like Spider-Man into Professor X. While this does put him at the same Cost as his lockdown peer Professor X, we think that their effects are distinct enough that they can both sit at 5-Cost.

Bounce decks with cards like Kitty Pryde, Bast, and Hit-Monkey have been performing very well lately. Beast in particular stood out to us as a very powerful enabler in the deck. We want Beast’s effect to take more investment to get returns, so we’re adjusting him to be a 3-Cost card. This also helps give Falcon more room to spread his wings, as he often felt like a worse Beast without the cost reduction effect.

Many decks are able to take great advantage of the cheap 6-Power Demon while neutralizing The Hood’s negative Power. We’re making a small nerf to The Hood’s Power to make him more punishing to play if you’re unable to counteract his base Power. Notably, this is actually a buff to Viper decks that hand The Hood over to the opponent to deal with.

In a similar vein to our Enchantress buffs, Rogue is a card we’d expect to see more of to counteract powerful Ongoing effects. While it’s not surprising that Enchantress is more popular with her higher base Power, more universal coverage, and synergy with cards like Zabu and Lizard, we were surprised to see that Rogue performs poorly even in Silver Surfer decks. We’re giving her a small bump in Power to help her be a more viable tool to counter Ongoing cards.

Players move past many of the starter cards pretty quickly, but most of them make a comeback in a variety of later archetypes. For example, Quicksilver was in a Lockjaw deck for a while, Iron Man sees play in Thanos Ongoing and Mr. Negative, and just recently High Evolutionary brought back all the vanilla cards. Medusa however stands out as a card that sees virtually no play anywhere beyond the early stages of SNAP. Even though she’s consistently a 2/4 currently, her restriction makes her weaker than she may seem. We’re giving her a buff to allow her to better compete with other options at the 2-Cost slot.
