Everyone will forget about twitch's involvement within a week. Just like every time literally any big event happens with any company.
This comment is even gayer.
Sounds a bit gay
Honestly, now that I've watched them more recently I enjoyed them a ton. At least Lucas had an idea of where he wanted to go with it, unlike the shit Disney trilogy.
Yeah Jackie Brown is my least favourite Tarantino film by a mile.
Probably hit too close to home.
Barbie movie Predictable
Were you expecting a post-modern masterpiece?
Never been a fan of the Dark Knight. So damn boring and ridiculously overrated.
Did this when I was a kid with a 50 pence piece. Superglued it to the pavement in our town and watched from across the street as numerous people bent down to try and pick it up. Classic.
Everyone in my office just fucking moans about everything, all the time. It's honestly exhausting. The company is actually really good and gives a ton of perks. Just do your job and go home. Stop trying to bring everyone down with your shit.
Pretty sure the shortest time between Playstation consoles was 6 years (PS1 > PS2 & PS2 > PS3.) Then 7 years for both PS4 and PS5.
I am still uploading to Google Photos currently, but have setup a backup of my photos once a week using SMBSync2 on Android, to my Raspberry Pi NAS. I have two external hard drives connected to my pc, so when I login to my pc there are two automated backups that happen to copy anything newly added to the nas to the two hard drives.
It definitely is dying. The younger people are dropping off because they don't want to be on a social media network with their mum and their fucking nan.
Do you think everyone on this godforsaken website is American? Fuck your American politics and fuck you.
Oh my god, shut the fuck up.
If someone wants to end their own life, that isn't your choice to make.
Just wondering if anyone is part of any Python chats, communities, forums etc, and which ones are good to join?

Hey all. I've not been on here for a while, but had an itch for a specific kind of website.
Remember that 2000s feeling of just being online, talking with others, watching flash animations, posting in forums, etc? Now that everything has gone overly corporate and the internet isn't what it once was, I'm wondering if there are still sites out there that any of you use, that give that same feeling.
I'm talking about sites you can interact with, whether it be forums, chat sites, etc. I just want that old school internet feel where not everything is bogged down with rules, over moderation etc. But where people have fun, post memes, and have managed to hold on to that old internet culture, if that makes any sense!
Basically, i'm looking for a site where the old internet users went and didn't leave.
Hi guys, I want to communicate with people here via chat if possible, and just wondering what people here are using?
I want to use a protocol if possible, and definitely not discord or some other software run by a corporation. Obviously IRC was the thing to use back in the day. Do people still use it or something else?
I love the fediverse and the idea of getting away from the big tech companies, and am looking for whatever real time chat software is recommended right now. Thanks.
Edit: Setup on Matrix, thanks guys! @xero-:matrix.org hit me up if you want!
So I've just checked and there's 350 subscribers which is just mad to me. Sure the sub isn't really that active, but I can tell the interest in these sorts of old style and personal websites is definitely there!
Feel like I haven't posted much for a little while and wanted to make this post to say thanks to everyone who's joined so far and posted some really cool sites.
I've kind of just made this community but not really looked into anything further like modding or asking what people actually want. So if anyone has any suggestions or even want to come on board and help out, please let me know!
All sorts in here, emulators, software, personal sites etc.
What an absolute shit show. Brace yourselves for a massive influx.
Welcome, weary traveller, to the illustrious Mx Tynehorne’s cabinet of hypertext curiosities!
I haven't had a good look at this one, but there's tons of links in here.
A collection of links on a funky retro looking site. Some of the links are link pages themselves so there's tons of stuff here to check out.

This is a page absolutely full of interesting sites, you could spend hours trawling through all of the links and the subsequent links you find on each site.
I have created this community because I have a huge nostalgia and passion for the "old internet". Basically, before it all got boiled down to like 5 main sites.
I asked on Lemmy for people to list websites they use or links to old style websites, and had plenty of replies to my post. Since then I have had a deep dive into loads of interesting, quirky websites, free from the meddling of corporations, ads, and tracking.
There is so much out there that you'd struggle to find on search engines. I'd like this community to be somewhere we can post interesting websites, old style websites, personal websites, lists of websites, etc.
If anyone else has a passion to explore the depths of the Internet and share these sorts of sites, you're welcome here!
Hey all. Since the Internet has just been boiled down to the main big social media sites, it feels like the magic is gone. Whens the last time someone said to you "hey check out this cool website"? It's always the same: TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, FB, Reddit, Discord. Forums are basically dead. Chat rooms are dead. Message boards are dead.
I miss that feeling of just discovering interesting or quirky websites. Lemmy is cool because it feels fresh and new, and there's not a boat load of users here yet. But what other sites do you guys use or can recommend? I remember browsing Joe cartoon, Newgrounds, weebls, Ebaums, failblog, damnlol, and a bunch of other stupid but either funny or interesting sites.
Are there sites out there that still have that early Internet vibe? I feel like there is a treasure trove of still active websites out there but I have no idea what they are. Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated.
Edit: I created !oldweb where these sorts of sites can be shared!
