Or just plain arch. Installing it with archinstall isn't that hard
After working with somewhat modern Java using IntelliJ for 4 years,, it's alright. Null is the most annoying thing imo; just use Optionals instead
You could also use Win10 with ReviOS, AtlasOS, Ghost Spectre etc. as an addition to your Linux partition
The springy thing has actually been broken for years in mine, I'll definitely go look for a nearby store
I don't think I've ever met a genuinely smart person that wasn't kind. Most insufferable people I've met weren't outstandingly smart. But maybe that's just the bubble I live in and a little bit of luck.
Or I'm just very tolerant and have a high ceiling for what I'd describe as insufferable.
I don't want features, I want the session restoration in Wayland to work properly 😭
The creation and destruction of universes is left as an exercise to the reader
You can get one in gnome too, via a plugin/extension (forgot the correctname for it)
I mean, what kind of functionality do you expect from interiors? Most ships give you access to ship components, like quantum drive, shields, etc. which you will need for the engineering update. You usually also get weapon racks and shower/toilet rooms (thought tbf those don't really server any purpose).
Imagine if they just went to Nord VPN and got the data from them LOL
This does sound a bit conspiracy-ish, but they do have a point. Whether it's intentional or not is debatable, but it sure is convenient for corpos
Same. I get a big smile on my face every time I read bad news about windows :)
I recently heard fly agaric is very commonly consumed as a tea - and even gets you a decent high or can help you sleep at lower doses.
The high is apparently somewhat comparable to alcohol. It's also not as toxic as media makes it seem to be, I think it's also comparable to alcohol.
Send it to Germany :)
We need it soon (hopefully)
The ice can't melt if we remove it all
554 billion dollars of revenue every year.
And they still the Ad money from prime and treat their delivery drivers like shit?
For the past few weeks, the download speed on steam via USB-Tethering on my Linux distro (Arch, btw) has been steadily going, barely reaching 2 MB/s right now. I thought it might be the ISP slowing Steam specifically down, since every other download worked at the expected speed (~15-30 MB/s). Just because I was curious (and wanted to exclude Linux as the issue), I booted into my Windows and started a Steam download, which surprisingly reached 30 MB/s.
When using home wifi, every download has the (approximately) same speed, only with USB-Tethering and only on Linux is Steam much slower than anything else.
I'm at a loss here. No idea what the issue could be.
Update while writing this: I noticed my Wifi was still connected while USB-Tethering was active, disconnected and now Steam downloads with ~10 MB/s. Still slower than Windows but at least some progress and hopefully insight into what could be causing this.
I recently noticed that Firefox for me has pretty high battery usage, more than twice of what Connect (Lemmy) has at ~75% the screen time. Could this be because of extensions? I'm using Dark Reader and uBlock Origin
So I've been wanting to switch from Google, but Calendar is the one thing keeping me from doing so, mainly because of Tasks. I only use Tasks and I use them multiple times a day. Are tasks coming to calendar any time soon? I saw them being mentioned in a post a year ago but it seems nothing happened yet.
