Sovcit is going to send a letter to the CFO.
  • No, the bill of sale isn't signed, it was just drafted. It's not binding or anything. So he's gonna send it to the CFO and the CFO is gonna be like "uh, okay..." and throw it in the recycling

  • Reuse that teabag! Ignore that special offer! It’s time to join the underconsumer revolution
  • People can knock this and call it "poverty LARPing" but it's still preferable to filling landfills with Temu bullshit while "affluence LARPing". It's probably better for not only the environment but also to one's financial stability and mental health to reuse, reduce, and recycle as oppose to being beholden to some influencer that decides to rent a lambo for a day for an insta shoot

  • Fox News really loves to think that the burden of proof isn't on the person making a claim, but on the people pointing out that there is absolutely no evidence of that thing ever happening

  • 'Those numbers are crazy': MSNBC hosts stunned by Harris efforts in battleground states
  • Full article:

At the start of Saturday morning's edition of "The Weekend" on MSNBC, co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend broke the news about voter outreach efforts by Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign in the key battleground states needed to beat Donald Trump.

The numbers she quoted stunned co-host Michael Steele.

As Sanders-Townsend reported, "We begin with breaking news, from the Harris campaign moments ago. the campaign released a first look at its battleground state operation as it has kicked into high gear, since the vice president joint race."

"In the last 12 days alone, volunteers have placed 2.3 million phone calls, knocked on 172,000 doors and sent nearly 2.9 million text messages to voters in the seven battleground. This grassroots support comes as vice president Harris secured enough delegates to win her party's nomination," she added.

After introducing Dan Kanninen from the Harris campaign, co-host and former RNC chair Steele exclaimed, "Hey, those numbers are crazy."

"You guys," he continued. "Just the sheer level of organization is incredibly strong. You are looking at, for example, in blue wall states alone over a 100,000 voters have signed up to attend events. In sunbelt states like Georgia, North Carolina, you got thousands — tens of thousands of supporters signing up in the last 12 days. 63,000 sign-ups in Georgia, nearly 40,000 in North Carolina."

  • [MISLEADING TITLE] Trump Agrees to a Fox News Debate With Harris on Sept. 4
  • True, but at the same time his base has spent the past 5 years hyperfocusing on Biden's age and gaffes. I even know a Trump voter that's going for Kamala this time because she apparently looks like she'd be tougher on crime, and Vance wears makeup (lol). What a time to be alive

  • [MISLEADING TITLE] Trump Agrees to a Fox News Debate With Harris on Sept. 4
  • Trump's whole schtick is to latch onto a red herring and run off deep into left field with it and make that the focal point, but the thing is that he's lately been doing that kind of thing in a really bizarre manner (Hannibal Lector? wtf), so the more he talks, the better for Kamala. He's starting to push it so far it's all falling off the table and instead of just alienating undecides he's starting to alienate moderate supporters. edit: dude has been coming off as 'weird' to his own lately

  • [MISLEADING TITLE] Trump Agrees to a Fox News Debate With Harris on Sept. 4
  • It's an emotionally stunted narcissist that loves to talk vs a prosecutor. He'll go over time, Kamala will wave her hand a little as if it's cool, she'll get the mic and seek clarification, and when Trump is talking on her time the camera will pan over to her while she's looking through it as if she's on the Office while he spends 2 minutes trying to re-explain 'Black Jobs'

  • Intel is laying off over 15,000 employees and will stop ‘non-essential work’
  • Yeah, the tail could definitely wag the dog. NVDA is now in the top 3 holdings of both SPY and QQQ, so if something like 2 Metas or 1 Microsoft started paring back and skipped on a product cycle, Nvidia's forward metrics would suddenly be garbage, and between those couple companies, suddenly >15% of market is tanking and dragging entire sectors along for a wild ride

  • 'You're blowing it': Trump's fans beg him to change course as polls show GOP slipping
  • I don't know how he could even change course without digging a deeper hole. There's no way he can possibly convince people that he's not an overtly racist nincompoop without saying something overtly racist and coming off sounding like a nincompoop. We've seen him try and try again

  • Intel is laying off over 15,000 employees and will stop ‘non-essential work’
  • The elephant in the room is the semiconductor ETF trade. People are actively trading ETFs more than actual tickers (SOXL is routinely one of the highest volume tickers day in and day out, and it's been like this for a couple years now). Used to be that NVDA and AMD correlated with crypto because people would flip them on that basis, but not really the case anymore due to all that but I digress - if NVDA tanks, it's really overweight in all these ETFs, ETFs tank, managers dump every holding in the ETF, and a bunch of non-AI semi stocks will wind up getting walloped about as hard

  • Trump Doubles Down on “Kamala Isn’t Black” Argument With New Photo
  • He's dumb, but about as dumb as a rat that figured out how to reach the cheese in the maze. He's kind of bumbling around and took an unintentionally Socratic approach towards reaching what he wanted. There's some rationality to all of it

  • Republicans want someone younger than Donald Trump as president: new poll
  • They prefer it, but he's the nominee, so they'd jump off a bridge to follow him. I like when reporters ask random Trump supporters random questions on the street and they all basically say "well, I hate a dozen things about this guy and don't trust him at all, but there isn't an alternative"

  • Trump Doubles Down on “Kamala Isn’t Black” Argument With New Photo
  • Not dumb, in the sense that he knows 70% of his base doesn't give two shits about anything, and 10% want to see vulgar stuff because it's entertaining.

This is the guy who has mocked developmentally disabled people on national TV more than once, prior to winning the 2016 election, and I'm basing his reasoning after that. His fanbase is beholden to his callous asshattery
