Echoing the others to say that wearing an *N95 will provide some protection to you, as well as those around you. I wear one every time I'm indoors in public spaces or outside in large crowds.
Should've done it, might've hastened the sinking of TERF island.
EDIT: Lmao to steal the covid vaccine, sure dude, fuck off and die.
I think the apps originated in silicon valley, so they had tons of money behind them that was willing to make a marketing push. Ads for them were already present as early as 2015 IIRC, even when they were still technically illegal, but nobody got arrested that I know of.
Supreme court struck down a law banning sports gambling in 2018 on the logic that "illegal gambling is already happening, might as well make it legal and cut out the criminals!". The now-legal betting companies started pushing a non-stop torrent of pro-gambling ads immediately.
Australia is also pretty bad, see below:
Didn't the UK arrest some activists before they did anything a while back? Sink that hellhole already.
Personally I think a gradual transition towards statelessness is necessary, because people are currently used to living in a state and are generally quite skeptical of sudden rapid change, even if it would be purely positive. Even if the capitalists were eliminated tomorrow and their propaganda networks shut down immediately, the general populace would still be infected by their brainworms for at least a generation.
I'll probably pirate it and give it a shot, then. Totally forgot about Brotato! That should be above Death Must Die in my list.
He just posted a video earlier today?
Well you see austerity kills the homeless and the poor, who can be brushed aside as not being fully human, while gommulism kills the smol business owners which makes it evil.
I'm also a fan of Vampire Survivors, but when I tried Halls I didn't enjoy it. From the brief bit I played before refunding, it seemed that it was mostly "dude with sword" and didn't scale anywhere near as crazily as VS (see attached hyperbolic screenshot below). Much worse, you had to aim with the other thumbstick. I also don't really have nostalgia for Diablo. Would you say I should give it another shot?
My Survivors tierlist:
- Vampire Survivors (100% completion)
- Holocure (100% completion)
- Death Must Die (have beaten all two bosses and now just have a large grind to max every character)
- Soulstone Survivors (have finished all content except the grind to level up every class to max)
- Halls of Torment (based on like 1 hour)
Me going to check what the Kirin armor set looks like while playing a female character in World
This is a great change.
Sure, but how is that going to give free money to Raytheon and Lockheed-Martin?
It's pro. Most things aren't bits.
Yep
We have to stop 100% hitler now by voting in 99% hitler, because otherwise 110% hitler will win in 2028!
Typing of the Dead is woke and soy, but Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a masculine game for patriotic chads.
Yeah, generally they're playing another D&D-style game, or more rarely a game that's an entirely different genre. Game like Pathfinder (2e is the big internet favorite atm) and OSR games are designed to be basically the same niche genre of "dungeon-crawling, combat-centric high fantasy" but with different rules. Other games like Dungeon World use the same setting concept but the rules are more narrative-focused with less emphasis on hours-long combats on a grid. Further afield are generic systems like FATE, GURPS, Savage Worlds, etc which are flexible and can be used to play whatever genre you want, so they can be D&D-fantasy or cyberpunk, superheroes, historical fantasy, "action movies", etc (though most of these tend to be best at one or a few things). Or you can just play something totally different like Lancer, a game set in the space communist future where you fight slavers and fascist remnants in giant mechs, or Thirsty Sword Lesbians, which I know very little about except that the name is funny and that it is very queer.
Personally I use GURPS, because it does a lot of things I like and because it can be used to run different genres with minimal effort. Things like extreme customizability, crunchy combat that actually has multiple options worth choosing that aren't just 'spam attacks', no HP bloat, point-buy characters with no classes (unless you want them), I could go on.
To your points, D&D would be a terrible choice.
- It's balanced around a party of 4-6
- It has almost no advice of how to run it
- It's incredibly combat-focused, with balance assuming you'll get into 6+ fights per in-game day
Glad to hear you're going with something else, good luck!

Interesting video, sadly the presenter is a frustrating liberal who refuses, whether out of sincere belief or optics concerns, to condemn NATO. Also uses fun phrases like "when Hamas attacked Israel on Oct 7th".
Edit: also the "call to action" at the end is laughable liberal claptrap. There is no stopping the military from doing something so long as the games industry exists under capitalism, because the military has INFINITE MONEY to tempt people into working for them.
Broke young man + chainsaw demon = Chainsaw Man!
ALL MY EARS, GONE !all-my-apes-gone
Seems like there aren't a lot of typical Elden Ring dungeons, just overworld stuff and then bigger dungeons for the more important bosses. Performance is really bad so far.
Died to the Parade Lion while it was at 1HP, Freja secured the kill just before I timed out, hell yeah, I'll take it.
Inspired by that Dune post.
and uninstalled immediately. Did all the faction quests + main storyline. None are worth playing. I almost regret pirating it at all. Thank you todd.
You can be a:
- Cop
- Cop
- Undercover Cop
- Corporate Dog
Thank you todd
Saw a new 20-story development is going up nearby and checked out prices. Mao should have killed more landlords.
When did we even get pikmin emojis?
Meatball Ron should be [actionable threat]
Youtube, twitter, and reddit have obviously been in the news a lot recently, but every day business applications also seem to just keep getting worse. Got new PCs at work which means version updates, and pretty much everything we use (autocad, adobe acrobat, and ms office, mainly) all seem to run much slower, despite the computers having substantially higher specs. Love that I can't use any old versions or alternatives because they refuse to grant me admin access.
I love capitalist innovation! Why make things better when you could just make them worse and charge more?
