If 1 million people sign a petition, a ban on rendering multiplayer games unplayable has a chance to become law in Europe
  • It’s just a light satire, appealing to those who notice the hypocrisy of gamers, who loudly objected to “politics” in gaming, but who are now calling for politics in gaming.

Hopefully it will raise a wry smile for some, but i understand others might be triggered.

    Hopefully, you’re a smiler.

  • Is a used ThinkPad Carbon X1 Gen 6 worth it for $400?
  • I can’t speak for your local market but this looks like about £100 north of the going rate in the UK.

    Good machine though.

You are paying a premium for Carbon, you can get the same performance from T series - 480’i think.

  • Redditors gather around to cry about jason hickel's article on unequal exchange. Lot of genius scientist economists chime in to deboonk all the bad science.
  • In many African countries, corrupt border guards will demand bribes to allow the movement of goods, which can make trade unprofitable; thus, many farmers, who would otherwise specialize in food for export, decide instead produce food for personal consumption (subsistence farming), which reduces the value of their labor.

Can’t really read that and keep a straight face.

Full blown Degrasse Tyson syndrome .

  • God of War (2018)
  • I was not patient with this game.

I was patient with GoW 3 which apparently was a PS3 game originally. It went on sale a few years back, so I picked it up on whim for my PS4.

I really enjoyed it, had great playability, was little bit retro, I don’t know - I just enjoyed it. Perhaps because I had no expectations?

Anyway, when GoW was released, I bagged it straight away. It’s a different game but a fantastic experience. It’s an epic journey. Great story, good to look at, really glad I invested in it .
