Concord has been user tagged as "politics" on steam for having non-white LGBTQ+ characters

Honestly Valve should do a purge on this shit. People who brigade tag things like this get banned from using Steam community features.

I see the "politics" and "political simulator"(!!!) on its steam page, that's just run of the mill multi fps shooter. Do they even moderate the tags there?

This is probably going to piss off people who actually want to play political sim and games about politics.

This game has looked like a complete dud that no one asked for to me from everything I've seen, but of course the vast majority of gamer complaints have seemed to be just frothing about WOKE DEI ESG frothingfash

I really wish the vast majority of "hero shooters" were just co-op games. Sweaty PvP is so done for me. That's part of the reason I like Warframe and Wayfinder and other "hero" style games. I like saving the day with the homies. These Concord characters all look fine to me, I think they'd make for fun co-op heroes

Looks like a very generic live service hero shooter in a tired oversatured market.

It flopped and it had pronouns therefore the "Go woke, go broke" bumper sticker is still valid before an election. Keep that culture war shiny flashing and ignore we offer nothing.

If you look at YT or maybe even Steam I'm sure it's full of copy paste pronounjak-rage like someone got a memo unleashed to a bot farm. Stuff that has nothing to do with the gameplay.

The game was unknown to me up until a few days ago when the outrage machine kicked on. Like zero marketing for this. As other said low hanging easy target. But there are 4chan patterns to these things. From what I seen in Helldivers 2 which was a massive target.

Find something dIvErSe about the game's development crew and demand they be fired for frivolous reasons with their contribution to the game.
If that doesn't work - demand nerfs and higher difficulty to drive the causuals out.
When nerfs happen mock the DEI and tell people to git gud.
Constantly hammer on about the natural decline of players as if it is because of DEI.
When outrage that you helped manufactured becomes critical or players leave because of the nerfs you flooded the dev to make assert it went broke because woke and let that be a lesson to you.

They make it political rather than a passing thing like pronouns like we have here.

So weird they picked this to hate on, cause it seems like a bit of an Overwatch clone, which also shares a lot in common with League of Legends.

I know Overwatch has a few, but I played a lot of League and there are plenty of non-vanilla characters.

I sincerely wish the sight of these groups causes intense psychic backlash and physical pain. This will be extra funny considering the vast majority of the world is non white. Maybe this explains why they're adamant to vote fuckers that wanna accelerate climate catastrophe especially since it will hit the global south the hardest first.

Every character in Concord looks like a background extra in a cheap sci-fi movie. They're very colorful but somehow completely generic and bland. And the game was advertised with unearned enthusiasm. "Hey, you get the opportunity to play this fun adventure game that is fun and enjoyable and adventurous. You'll get to play as the funny, spunky, in-your-face, funny, space character. Do you like that you consumer? We made this for you. This is stuff you like."
