If all the rest of those stupid turds had stopped slap fighting with each other and let one run, they probably could've beat her, but they're pretty much all trash, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. It's embarrassing, but not surprising.
I leave the whole thing set up in the guest room so I don't have to mess with it, and I'm a woman, so most of my dressier tops are less complicated than a men's button-down. I plug it in, wash my face, and it's ready to go, and it really is only about 2 minutes to actually iron. Maybe twice that if it's a particularly finicky fabric (which I'm slowly eliminating from my wardrobe).
Man, I iron all the time. I'm not like, ironing underwear like a crazy person, but I have a lot of shirts that would be straight up unacceptable to wear to work without it. It takes like 2 minutes.
Oh absolutely not. No thank you. The world at large has my permission to smother me with a pillow if I hit 90 and don't die. But it's fine, I'm sure the microplastics/ultraprocessed food/climate change/whatever will take me out before that.
Not necessarily in terms of sheer craziness, but the lying about every part of her background is pretty identifying.
I know parents didn't know how bad these places were years ago, and the people running them put on a good show, but anyone still willing to put their kid in one after they've been pretty thoroughly exposed should lose all of their children. This shit is sick.
Funny how I knew it was Anna Paulina Luna just from that description. She's a nutjob.
I'd be more interested to know which Trump staff members haven't committed crimes at this point.
I was ready to be insulted, but then I remembered that I bought a whole ass Steam Deck and I've pretty much used it as a Binding of Isaac machine.
Not necessarily. I've beat several thousand levels of a similar game (because I've trained my brain that playing it means it's sleep time and now it knocks me out) and haven't spent a dime.
No, they're sweatpants, just with a slimmer fit and tapered legs so they're a little nicer looking.
It's definitely way less work. If you get hired for an hour, you're pretty much expected to be fully engaged in, if not sex, then at least being entertaining in some way. With the type of sex work she did, she was never getting paid for time spent sleeping or eating (and definitely not hanging out and shopping), unless that was someone's kink, I guess. I had a series of sugar daddies in my early 20s, and don't let anyone tell you that's not sex work, and I definitely made less per hour than a more traditional prostitute, but I also put in a lot less energy. Plus, it came with a lot more perks.
I wear a lot of cargo joggers, which are really the best of both worlds. 10/10. I usually have to buy them in men's because of the eternal struggle for pockets, but it's worth it.
There are a few companions in Mass Effect that seem to inspire a way stronger reaction from other fans and I don't totally get it. Like, I like Thane, and I'm sad about what happens to him, but some people are SO into him and I don't get it. I also love Tali and restarted my first nearly complete playthrough when I realized I couldn't save her and Legion, but there are fans who are full on obsessed. Then again, my love for Garrus can't be contained, so I'm sure some people don't get that.
At least we can all agree that Ashley and Kaiden are the worst, right?
I haven't had any issue finding those amenities in hotels in Europe (at least in Berlin, Munich, Madrid, and Málaga, which is not an exhaustive study by any means). I've seen a few that look to be entire small apartment buildings converted into hotels, which isn't great for the local housing market, but all the ones I've stayed at were clearly built for that purpose. So that's the good news, I guess.
Did you read the rest of the thread? I already acknowledged that I was wrong about that part, but they're saying they can't get work because of him while still refusing to condemn him. The GoFundMe says he was "involved in a tragic shooting incident," which is a pretty weasely way to say he killed people.
I also question that it really has anything to do with him. He's certainly not having any issues making money, and there are a concerning number of people who consider him a hero, or at the very least aren't bothered by what he did (see the comments on this post for a whole lot of evidence). Surely some of them are hiring.
Ok then I retract the part about driving. But I have a hard time feeling sympathy for her being unable to get a job. She's repeatedly defended him and said she stands by him, and she allowed her 17 year old to buy a gun he couldn't legally have and to drive without a license. Being associated with him is her doing. I have a family member who was a teenage white supremacist piece of shit (who was thankfully stopped by the FBI before he killed anyone), and you can bet nobody thinks I'm associated with him because I make it very clear where I stand. If I said he was a good person and I'll always support him, I wouldn't be shocked if employers said nah.
Huh. Have any of them considered a job? If the mom was capable of driving her child to another state to murder some people, I bet she could drive for uber or something. Or be a getaway driver for other criminals, idk.
Somewhere, Brennan Lee Mulligan is crying and he doesn't know why.
“Under Donald Trump, your life was better,”
The absolute stones on that man to say that. It absolutely was not in any way better.

This guy has been running for local office and losing every election cycle for years. His latest thing is that he is a victim the same way George Floyd was because DEI has made it hard to be a white man, I guess?
For the record, his "wife" literally left the country over a decade ago and I think his son has also moved to her country. The last picture he has with them is easily 15 years ago, so I don't think they really give a shit if anyone votes for him. Oh, also, they're Asian so he regularly refers to himself as a "person/father of color."
I don't do much handheld gaming, but I'm going to have some overseas flights and long-ish train rides later this year, and may also be having surgery that will keep me fairly bedbound for about a month. I'm just not sure how much money it's worth spending on a deck that I likely won't use much outside of those specific cases - I bought a switch when I got covid in 2020 and used it a ton at the time but I've only used it a few times since, though I miiight use a deck a bit more just because I already have a pretty extensive steam library.
Is it better to stick to the cheapest model or is there enough of a difference that it might be worth spending a little more for a nicer one?

This is one of the first kits I got really excited about and I finally grabbed it on Black Friday. I've never done buttonhole stitch and it's a lot of fun now that I have the hang of it. It's a party at my house, as you can see.
Workers making $17 an hour not impressed by holiday offer from company that just tripled profits to $9.9bn

Yeah, definitely don't put any of those profits toward a living wage though. Make your employees trauma dump for the chance at a few extra bucks! Probably comes as an Amazon gift card, too.

I don't know how to cross stitch (and did absolutely zero research before starting this kit), but this is a mood, especially after I realized I miscounted and put the s one space off and now have to pull it back out.
Well...mostly. I need to fill in a couple of gaps on the bear, but I lost my mind and decided to try to finish a whole new pattern by 10/1 so I'll have to worry about that later. I'm overall really happy with how both came out. I can see mistakes up close, but I think from a distance, they're both nice. Also, this was before ironing both, please disregard any wonky satin stitch - the thread moves when I wash off the pattern.
