Is anyone using PixelFed? How is your experience so far?
  • Yes, the hashtag feature works for me. Are you logged in to Pixelfed? It seems like you have to be logged in to be able to see the hashtag feed.

  • Is anyone using PixelFed? How is your experience so far?
  • Yes, I have a user on pixelfed.social. I like it, and use it daily.
It is kind of like Instagram, but in the fediverse and is open source.
A cool feature Pixelfed has is the ability to follow hashtags, so your home feed will be a mix between posts from the users you follow and the hashtags you follow.

So, I want a t-shirt to show off love to open source. I need some org to buy it from (so my money counts). I also want it to have a clear message to regular people.
  • Thank you for the suggestion! I've added the link you provided alongside the donate page link :)

  • Looking for a music solution
  • I have Jellyfin installed on my homeserver, works great for listening to music in my opinion. I sometimes use Bandcamp to find and buy/download music, which I then upload to Jellyfin.

    • (4/10) "I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too"
  • what do y'all actually host?

  • Where can I buy Linux merch and also support FOSS?
  • I created a GitHub repo a couple of weeks ago to list merch for open source projects, but there are not many things there yet.
    https://github.com/makmarian/open-source-merch-list

Note: I've tried to make sure I found the correct link for each project, but if unsure, please double check. Also, I have not bought from any of the links listed, so I cannot say anything about the quality of the different merch.

  • PC Won't Boot with an SSD/HDD connected - Suspected Overclocking Issue?
  • I haven't tried to reset a BIOS before, so I am not familiar with the process of it.
Is it safe to attempt either (F6:Fail-safe Defaults) or (F7:Optimized defaults) ?
From the motherboard manual: "Inadequately altering the settings may result in system's failure to boot. If this occurs, clear the CMOS values and reset the board to default values."

  • PC Won't Boot with an SSD/HDD connected - Suspected Overclocking Issue?
  • The only error/warning message I have found so far is in the BIOS, under the (M.I.T) section, and in that section there is a prompt which states: "The system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking or changes of voltages. Last settings in this page may not coincide with current H/W states.".
I don't get any errors when i boot into an OS with a USB-flashdrive (when the SSD/HDD is not installed)

  • I've been using FreshRSS for some weeks now, and I really like it – thought I'd share it here :-)
  • I installed it on a container (LXC) on my Proxmox home server. I only use it at home, I have not made it remotely accessible

  • What are people daily driving these days?
  • I've been using EndeavourOS with KDE for a bit under 2 years now (I think) on both my desktop and laptop. It is Arch based and easy to install. And for my home servers I run Proxmox

  • So... it's been a while now since the great exodus. How are you all doing my fellow refugees?
  • I really like it here on Kbin, and I'm on here daily :-)
I don't really use Reddit anymore; I usually only check Reddit if there is something I need help with or to look up something specific

  • What is your honest opinion on EndeavourOS?
  • I've been using EndeavourOS for a little over a year, and I am very pleased with my experience so far. The only issue I've encountered was a GRUB problem, which I had to fix manually using the terminal.
