I sort of feel that this has to be a concept born from eugenics to talk about how some lines are superior to others.
I wish I could have seen this comment, too bad.
That's correct, which is where my comments comes from. They aren't curious about the definition of a hate crime, they are trying to insert doubt while feigning ignorance.
This is what really pisses me off about the stock market. It's all free market capitalism until it goes bad then suddenly people are concerned with the knock-on effects.
There are people asking questions and there are people "asking questions" in an attempt to derail debate.
LOL you're delving into the typical sorts of pedantics that people turn to when they don't have an argument. "OOH OOH but Merriam Webster says that 'teenager' means blah blah blah" while completely sidestepping the fact that this person is a legal adult and is fully responsible for their actions, which is what the adults in the room are talking about now.
This checks as being just the sort of 18 year old who would support Trump. They probably have a long list of right-wing podcasts on repeat.
I think with LV, specifically, it's things like wallets that just last forever. The rest of it, meh.
Yep. Real high end clothing just looks like clothing. You have no idea that the person you are talking to has an $800 sweater on.
Yep. Some years ago, I made the decision to never wear logos or anything with a brand name on it. It's a silly thing to do and there are plenty of clothes out there that are just clothes.
Spanish is a bit more casual than the translation. More like “gotta cat?” “now ya do” “and that’s how I got cat”.
It’s more like narcissism, psychopathy, etc. The constant need to be better than others and worshipped for it.
IT here. They were terrible.
I assume that the plinth lifts it high enough for your finger to comfortably fit under.
It's crafted more to keep tourists from buying guns while visiting--my interpretation. If you're here as a tourist for sporting activities, then it's different.
This has been my interpretation for many years now. They got away with the fact that the public was apathetic for many decades, mostly because the times were good for most Boomers. Now people are motivated and all the cheap tricks they used in the past are no longer enough to keep the sentiment at bay. They WILL lose here but it's a question of how long it takes and how nasty it gets.
I mean the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a real church, so is the Church of the Dude. They are official and legally recognized religions. More than anything, you need a documented set of beliefs that you espouse and to register your organization.
I do see where you are coming from, but the overriding principle for me is that everyone has a right to freely express their identity in public and should not receive discrimination for it under any circumstances, even if they have a questionable choice in employers.
Do people REALLY complain about Linux? There are nutters everywhere but I don't think this is really a thing.
This is the new normal. It’s everyone angry all the time until something snaps or the culture changes. Personally I believe you have to wait until the older part of Gen X is dead before we get relief.
