Boomer humor
74 4 ReplyI get more of a school bully vibe from it. The stereotypical old person joke is "wife bad", this sounds more like something a self-described "alpha male" would say.
40 2 Reply"Bullying and sex-shaming funny" is just as much of a boomer humor cliché as "wife bad", though.
8 2 Reply"sure was hard when you mom was bouncing on it last night"
...and that's a beating from the bully.

A comeback to likely piss off said boomer since they are probably homophobic too.
27 5 ReplyThe original was better, since he left the antagonizer to his misery without any engagement, and went back to having fun.
4 0 ReplyExcept that he's scowling.
7 1 ReplyOh, that wasn't obvious on my phone screen until I zoomed in just now.
6 0 ReplyIt is actually kind of nice that your mind went to him just enjoying life and not being bothered by bullies.

Gen-X here. Can confirm that "virgin", " nerd", and "" were preferred punch lines by the boomers.
17 4 ReplyAlso judging people for having a harmless hobby that doesn’t conform to their world view.
17 1 ReplyYep. Older Gen-X was very "boomery", NGL. I think grunge vs hair metal might be a dividing line. I've also heard banana seat vs bmx, and Bad News Bears vs Goonies.

By millenials still early 2000s, and you have to add ethnic slurs on that list
6 0 ReplyWe watched an old episode of friends for nostalgia recently and the whole punchline of the entire episode was “yeah but you kissed a dude”.

Wasn't nerd still common bullying word in 80' and 90'? Then nerds became the richest people with the internet and it doesn't work anymore.
