I find it extremely funny how it pivots straight from "most Ukrainians have never seen a black person irl so they might stare at you" into "so anyway, they might call you the n word and a monkey".
Doubly funny because (white) Americans love to say shit like "Asia is the most racist because I went there once and people stared at me and asked me for photographs".
The notion that Asia is the most anti-black country is so odd to me. Like even if people were foaming at the mouth racist and saying slurs to every black person in the street, I don’t see how that’s more racist when black people make up a tiny percentage of the population and most countries there have little history with black people, whereas black citizens make up a significant portion of the western countries, and multiple (particularly angloid) countries had laws specifically targeting black people, and they still target them today. This isn’t mentioning the endless pro-destitution policies the west imposes on Africa.
One of it is (mostly) opportunist racism whereas the other explicitly incorporated anti black racism into countries’ very foundation
Honkies in America legitimately believe that because it's socially unacceptable to shout a slur at a black person that all racism has been alleviated from society, we are now systemically equal, and no white person has racial biases anymore because if they do, they'll get called out by "anti-racist" liberals. Right?
You see, a lot of countries don't have large black populations and haven't developed cultural conventions, laws, etc. around incorporating black populations into their societies. It's because these societies are inherently racist and definitely not because they didn't participate in the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
"Asia is the most racist because I went there once and people stared at me and asked me for photographs"
It's funny but I remember when I went to an Asian country once I was actually eager to get myself photographed with a mall security guard all because he was a mall security guard armed with a combat shotgun; it was the coolest thing my eighteen year old self had ever seen. My sister was originally like "<evilsandwichman> no!", but then she also wanted a photograph with him. Dude was a mall security guard with a combat shotgun, honestly coolest thing I'd seen by that point in my life.
I've seen mall security guards with full on submachine guns and assault rifles like the Beretta MX4 and various Galil/R4/R5 variants, along with body armour.
I swear, white people made that shit up just so they can mental masturbate about the idea of other humans viewing them as literal gods.
I have never met a single person from anywhere in Asia do that while in college, and the university I went to is pretty popular for international students.
