A town hall attendee in Maine took the opportunity to personally thank U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders this past weekend for pressuring pharmaceutical giants to curb the sky-high prices of inhalers, lifesaving devices that millions of Americans with asthma rely on to breathe.

Don't always align with him policy wise, but man do I like him as a human being. Always focusing on solutions to issues, not attacking others.
have you seen his old public tv show where he interviewed random people? he speaks to a very young goth looking couple. he's incredibly interested in their opinions and very understanding to their attitude. he's the kind of "old" you want. not bitter and defensive, but engaged, perceptive and understanding.
Which policies don't you align with?
I think there are things he wants that he knows won't ever happen but he pushes for them anyway. Focusing on 'taxing the rich' is never going to happen (IMHO). I think, removing loop holes, and making sure everyone pays there share is a much better fight, and achieves the same results. I'm sure there are other things we're not lined up on but that one jumps out.
and if he does attack others they are usually being way obstructionist and spreading bs about the issue or the solutions.
The US does not deserve Sanders even though we need him.
As a European I've been looking at America in disbelief, not understanding why Sanders wasn't the most obvious choice all along.
He was, but our voting system is flawed, and corporations influence most things. Bernie is bad for “business”

Small steps my friend. Just take a look at how the republicans do it. First they overturn roe v wade, have the abortion decision decided by the states, and planning in 2025 that no abortion is legal in the country.
