Yeah, I suspect these CPUs will be used by people who needs a cheap CPU for old/used AM4 motherboards, AMD has been selling them for almost a decade at this point so it's a cheap way to get a good computer.
I'm still using a 1700X and, although I probably ought to get a latest-generation-AM4 upgrade, apparently even the 5800X3D is "only" 47% faster? Not sure I can be bothered for anything that isn't at least twice as fast.
The XT I guess I can understand, but I'm kinda surprised they bothered with the T.
Are there really that many 5600-class chips that meet the 5600T spec but not the 5600X spec? It would've thought that market (consumer) confusion over naming isn't worth introducing SKUs that aren't sufficiently different enough to existing products.
