Worth the wait. 104 poles.

I jumped out of my seat, the drama build up of that last sector was vintage F1. New world record too: most career poles at a single GP, beat Senna and Schumacher.
Me and my wife also jumped! Epic and by 0.003 seconds insane.
You never know when your last pole or last win was your last pole or last win. LH was justifiably emotional after this year.
I don't like Lewis but bravo. Max will still probably win with his insane race pace but he'll have to earn it this time.
This is the first race where there's some chance he won't win. If his previous starts have been anything to go by then it's possible that Lando takes him on the start and him and Lewis pull enough of a gap to make it difficult for Max to overtake.
Ok maybe I'm in Dreamland but this is probably the first race where it's not guaranteed that Max will win.
By "earn" you mean "wait until drs is enabled and make the pass halfway down the main straight", right?
Probably, yes. He doesn’t even need a good start with that Red Bull.
Hungaro-King strikes again. Get in there Lewis. What is it about him and this track.
Man I missed it! I need to watch the replays. Can Ham actually won or will Ver take it in the beginning?
Ver starts haven't been great this year.
It's not the starts he needs. It's one or two laps.
Yes, I can't see Hamilton throwing away a position in the top five to fight too hard with Verstappen. And verstappen, like Hamilton, is extremely good at getting past and then gently eking out a lead in a superior car without destroying his tyres. I think 2 laps minimum, 5 maximum, Verstappen is past and building his lead.
So Mercedes CAN win a race without outspending the competition.
They can win a pretty weird qualifying session. Let's see about the race tomorrow. I'm sadly expecting Verstappen ahead by lap 2, and for the rest of the race (ignoring pitting).
