Idk, this fight kinda makes me sad. Tyson should be playing with his grand kids at some retirement community in south Florida. Jake Paul can get fucked, he's obviously playing to Tyson's ego.
- I see it as a sort of "I'm so rich I get to fight a living legend" instead of an actual contest. This is a sham.

  He did serve his time, but yeah. Always a bit weird. Especially when you've got some real contemptible quotes from him like in this article:

I’ll never understand how the price of entertainment has fallen so much that it’s practically free but Boxing/Wrestling you still have to pay ~$100 an episode????? And pay for cable.

Eh. I dunno. Tyson is in his 50s, and has a much shorter reach than Jake Paul. As much as I'd prefer to see him win, I don't think that Tyson is gonna pull this off.
- Tyson boasts a career record of 50-6 with 44 victories via knockout.
  he wasn't exactly an average fighter, going up against some great fighters.
  
  Paul is 9-1, the one loss being a split decision, and 6 of the wins being knockouts. He's inexperienced, but that doesn't mean he's not good.
  I want to see Tyson knock him out in under ten seconds. But I don't think I'll get my wish.

I hate Paul as much as anyone. I REALLY do! But.....
He is a pretty competent boxer.

- A lot of people really don't want to hear this, sadly.
  Both Paul brothers are solid boxers, Jake especially. I'm in no way against their current plan to have weird pro matches because people of their fame would always struggle to have a legitimate amateur career. Admittedly I have little experience of amateur boxing, but in MMA the promotion around these events is often sketchy at best, critically unsafe at worst.
  IMO Jake Paul having 12-15 influencer fights is like having a bunch of amateur fights. He'll probably only do a few and once he's ready for a can boxer (perhaps a Tommy Fury rematch) we'll see him retire. All in all, a fairly standard career for a professional fighter, which for a POS influencer is absolutely great.
