The Police Department has released two new images of the man it believes fatally shot the chief executive of UnitedHealthcare, including one showing him in the back seat of a taxi on the day of the shooting.
The images were released late Saturday night as the frantic investigation continued to identify and track down the killer of Brian Thompson, 50, the health care executive gunned down outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel in Manhattan on Wednesday.
One image, captured from the front of the cab, appears to show the unidentified suspect peering forward from the vehicle’s back seat with his face partially obscured by a blue surgical mask, a dark hat and a black hood. The other image, apparently recorded through a window, shows the man walking on the street wearing the same mask, a black puffer jacket and a hood pulled over his head.
I’ve been wondering if I’m the crazy one… the picture that is supposed to be the guy at the hostel… his jacket has breast pockets. The jacket on the guy in the picture from the actual scene of the shooting does not appear to have those pockets. But I don’t really see anyone mentioning that very often.
I actually just realized that the covering of the eyes is probably more effective for people who aren’t autistic. It’s always seemed insane to me that people can’t recognize someone if only their eyes are covered,!but I do look at peoples eyes a whole lot less than others do.
Looks like a guy I knew's eyebrows and face. I doubt this guy is in his 40s, though. I also have not seen him since 2002, live on the other side of the world, and cannot remember his name anyway.
Though, were it to be the same guy, I would have bad news to any ladies interested in him as he would not be interested, heh.
