I can't remember the last time I handled paper currency
- That’s because you were high on cocaine.
  
  I didn't think that could happen just from licking the notes!

  The key word there was paper. As opposed to plastic, which is what they use for notes in Australia...

One of my friends blew his nose into some money once. I wouldn't snort drugs off money. Seems like a great way to get a weird nasal infection.
- Sometimes I need to wipe my face after a meal and have no napkins so I use money
- My friends and I often staple cash to ourselves. I have no idea how infections aren't more common. Every now and then a piece will actually get stuck under the skin.

How did you JUST learn this? That's more fascinating to me than the post.
- I'm aware of the 10,000. STILL, this is referenced in things all of the time. I want to know what rock they've been under.
- To be fair, it’s called “Today I Learned”. Just happens that I learned this when I was yesterday’s years old. That’s and I not a U.
  Also, based on the other responses, it seems I’m not the only one who might not have known this before now.

  It's amazing how offended everybody is by my surprise. It's almost as if I attacked you personally. World full of thin skinned people.
