Favourite Game Rule

I know nothing about that game, what can you tell me about it?
- It's an old JRPG for the PS2, I've kinda become obsessed with the universe the game takes place in, the music, and the unique mechanics that the game has.
  Basically the world is post-apocalyptic, and a mixture of fantasy and sci fi elements, there's a new type of artificial being called reyvateils who using some very convoluted in game science are able to perform magic by singing in a constructed language that was made entirely for the game world called hymnnos. And in the game the way you improve their abilities is by using a machine to dive in to their psyche and help them get over trauma/mental barriers they have
  The gameplay is different based on which part of the series you're playing but in AT2 specifically it's a turn based RPG with your turns having a time limit where you can attack, and then one where you are defending against enemies. You also have reyvateils accompanying you who act like super units who charge up a spell during combat which you can activate at any time to do massive damage.
  The music from the game is really awesome and sung in part Japanese and part Hymnnos, I'd recommend listening to Exec_Sphilia, Exec_Phantasmagoria, and The heart speaks, if you're interested in hearing the hymnnos being sung, and for regular music in the game id recommend Hearts Aflutter Chroche, Varna, and Waltz of the Gears

Depends on the genre tbh. The GOAT contenders are Outer Wilds, Transistor, Nioh 2, and Boundless.
I have a really long list of honorable mentions but those rise to the top today. If Blue Prince turns out to be as content rich as I think it is, it'll likely make this list too, but I'm not done with it.
- Blue prince was great, but I found that it got way too repetitive in the (post)endgame and didn't have enough return on each playthrough to keep me engaged. Theres a real sense of diminishing returns on the exploration and secrets and it takes way too goddamn long to get anything done. I wish there was a way to make more persistent changes that carry through to the next day once you've reached the final room.

Final Fantasy VI, Aoishiro, Ape Escape, Stardew Valley, Touhou, Dwarf Fortress.
- I've been meaning to get through the final fantasy games at some point, I've only ever played FF14 and it's one of my favourite games.

  It's a yuri horror visual novel. It has so many routes and endings, the game comes with a flowchart menu.

Celeste (modded)
- Oh, there's mods for Celeste? Which one are you using?
  I still need to get around to finishing the base game ehehe
  
  Some maps that I enjoyed; D-Sides, SC2020, SJ, Glyph, Caverns of the Damned, Delusional Canopy
  Do recommend that you finish farewell before playing any of the above, except SJ and SC.

Rimworld! Spelunky 2 a close second :3
- When someone says the love to play Rimworld I always wonder what warcrimes they've committed on their colony hehe

Edit: Oh, have you tried playing the game with Project Metafalica patch?
- I've been meaning to play the whole trilogy again since I haven't played the third game yet, I'm definitely going to use the patch when I get round to it :3
  
  I haven't got around the third one myself, tho that's more because I am not a huge fan of the 3d aspect of it.
  Also, do play AT II with the patch! It solves some of the wonkier part of the game and that one buggy boss fight

I tried not to. But it's satisfactory.
