Welcome again to everybody! Make yourself at home, The sign up for the GenZedong baseball team is on the door. In the time-honoured tradition of our group, here is our weekly discussion thread.
I feel like I did, too. Sad thing is how much two meetings with aggravating people on a Friday last workday of the week can wipe out what had been a pretty nice week. I beat Super Mario Wonder! I dipped my toes in the Pacific! But Mr. Just-start-building-without-any-specs still has my BP up.
I commented on the Dutch socialist sub that Israel is a fascist and genocidal regime, and that it needs to be taken down. Some guy replied: 'Okay, but do you then also support taking down states like Australia and Canada?'
Organized a bar night for our two most prominent party leaders and it was fun. The place was crammed and everyone had a good time. The party leaders gave a shiot speech and then got up and stepped into the crowd to talk to everyone in a casual way (and the party paid for drinks). PR wise it's such a good move that I wonder why no other party is doing it.
It is doing my head in how the crackers'll deadass nurture a zionist ethnostate because the genocide it's committing is materially beneficial to the settler leech; but in the same breath they'll finger-wag any subject-of-empire who sees what they do and questions why we can't have a state dedicated to our own actually necessary defense from the aforementioned murderous, historically-oathbreaking settler barbarians
I'm watching that old Michael Bay Benghazi movie again, and I gotta say I can't shake the feeling that I'm watching propaganda (which it totally is). One thing I think is enlightening is how feeble the US military is portrayed. Dozens of military bases, with hundreds of men and vehicles between them and in 13 hours they can't go rescue 6 guys. What the fuck is that budget even for?
I'm almost done with my first hat. Its just a simple bucket/boonie hat and I could have been done with it long ago, but I have this perfectionist impulse where the further along a project gets and the more I learn from it, the more ideas I have and want to apply, the more intricate the project becomes, until I eventually finish it or it collapses into a pile of loose ideas.
Anyway, this hat is silky, shiny and quilted. "Like a checker pattern?" You ask. Haha fuck no, didn't you read before? I barely learned to quilt before being immediately compelled to one-up myself with something more difficult.
