- Stellaris used to have libertarian as the good ideology and authoritarian as the bad ideology, even though it made no sense and wasn’t associated with actual libertarianism at all
  
  I think you may be confusing it with individualism-collectivism which used to be the old ethics but got replaced with egalitarian-authoritarian for current versions of the game
