They are great until you actually need something from them
All media is biased, that's why you read news critically.
Do you speak anything other than english? If you don't you probably should start there.
I wasn't really impressed by the touchpads, until I actually used them. Been playing stellaris on my bed every day now and I can't imagine a portable PC like this not having pads.
I loved gunning down the rival with my electabuzz
You think that's pathetic? What about people with a burnt 14900k (550 dollars) asking if they should wait for the next intel gen or go AMD?
I wonder how much heat just descending that much mass would generate.
If you want less of a headache, just go AMD. FSR may not be as good as DLSS but the extram RAM will help you a lot more in the long run.
Hey, at least in 10 years the earth will be mostly the same!
Also FTL has a linux native version, which was a blessing when I only had a crappy ubuntu laptop.
FFXIV runs alright in the deck.
I mean they could also just make the ships, stations or whatever they think needs to be visible just look as if they had a light source on them, you know, like classic space games did.
Realism chuds when realism makes game worse (they want to have to pee every 3 hours and sleep for at least 8).
Treecko is still the coolest grass type
I loved this video despite the fact that it starts by saying VNs aren't really games (true) and then focusing on at least a couple of them (which is understandable).
I love instantly dying to ice
Let's be honest: they already are. They are only limiting themselves to fighting with ukrainian soldiers.
Maybe? But the guy still sold lootboxes as gambling for children, so he can't be that anti-capitalist.
Wouldn't leaving NATO just invite a possible "intervention" in the future?

Has your average commonplace unchallenged ideas of China, but is overall a great video.
It's as if getting an advantage because of money instead of merit and effort is unfair. Such a wild idea could only really work on videogames haha.
Enjoyed blasting through the campaign. Except where you notice they released the chapters later and the difficulty spikes are pretty bonkers if you ask me.
The way you build your character is also much more manageable compared to something like Path of Exile too, so that's a big plus for me.
There's rumors FFXIV will announce the release date for the next expansion, but I'm not so sure. What other games will have panels or interesting things going on there?
Sweet Baby Inc Detected Controversy refers to a Steam group or page that was made to identify which games the video game narrative consultant group Sweet Baby Inc had consulted on, attempting to help players avoid them. Yes, it's over literally nothing. Yes, gamers are harassing people.
We all know there's no difference between them (specially if you live outside the US), but I'm actually impressed how little the Biden campaign is doing. All they really got is "Trump bad", some bs about inflation being under control (if you exclude rent and food) and "protecting LGBT rights" (which I might have missed but Biden did literally nothing about?).
They should want to win to have their party implement the oligarchic plans and get that sweet sweet lobbying money right? Or are the elites actually preferring Trump right now?
Earlier this week the UN agency expressed ‘concern’ over the detention of prominent rights activist, Rocio San Miguel.
Sony Interactive Entertainment does not plan to release “any new major existing franchise titles next fiscal year,” which ends on March 31, 2025, the company said during its fiscal year…
Who has no games now???

Far-right president says not ‘opportune’ for Argentina – which had been set to become a member on 1 January – to be part of alliance
Once again Argentina will try their chances with the West. This time it will surely work.
I hated them when I was kid so I missed the golden age (also didn't really have money for the good ones).
Now I'm very entrenched into FFXIV and GW2 but there isn't really a community here on lemmy for them.
Time to put in another 100h in the same game I've been playing for half a decade!
I got gemcraft on a friend's recommendation but it has a strange interest in grinding xp and feels like a mobile game despite not having microtransactions.
Are there any games of this genre worth playing still?
I've heard that the USA actually funded/armed Hamas or something to oppose them, but I cant seem to find anything about them?
Maybe I'm alone in this, but lemmy kind of expects you to have multiple accounts (at least when .world goes down), so knowing which one I'm using when writing a comment would be helpful (even if switching on the fly wouldn't be feasible).
I never really used twitter, but since mastodon is the FOSS version that people seem to like, I've been trying it. But it's kind of hard if you don't know anyone to follow ¯\\\(ツ)\/¯ .
Anyway, any suggestions? It doesn't have to be necessarily about leftism, just people you find worthwhile to follow.
TechRaptor interviews Blue Protocol franchise lead Mike Zadorojny from Amazon Games about the global version, its localization, monetization, and more.
I'm sure gamers will have a normal reaction to it...
As part of its recently publicised cutbacks, BioWare has "let go of" Lukas Kristjanson, the lead writer behind Baldur's…
Guess story is not a priority at Bioeare anymore
The legendary chest seems like a great deal (even though the weapons aren't particularly my cup of tea). The skin is an interesting pick, but other than that, what are you gunning for?
