- Its not even catching up. You have to reboot "every few months". I haven't rebooted my arch install since it died in my backpack last December.
- Hey, it's been a really long time since I had to reboot windows to change my IP. /s

Let's see how well it works before congratulating. I have a hunch it won't work well
- I share this sentiment. If they made decent software I’d be less cautious about this.

You can update without rebooting, but then have to reboot anyway after half of the system services decide to stop working
