Now do it after everytime you eat and youll start hating your old self (your mouth will feel grosssss when not clean). It also works very well, I went six years without the dentist, went in for a cleaning, fucking nothing for them to do
E: Also change your toothbrush bimonthly and don't leave it in your bathroom
E2: also also bad teeth can be dangerous. A favorite actor man of mine died at 27 because an infected tooth gave him heart disease...
There was time when I was severely depressed and addicted to an online video game. I didn't brush my teeth properly during that time. When I went to the dentist I could tell that he was kinda apalled at how mch shit I had on my teeth (I think it's called plaque). Keeping the teeth healthy is really important. Especially considering how the capitalist healthcare systems and insurance companies see dental work as some kind of luxury/accessory.
Poor oral health creates other health conditions. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a conspiracy to create as many terrible health outcomes to increase GDP.
i always find flossing really hard because my mouth is really small and it's hard for my fuckin hands to fit in there (metaphorically, however, my mouth is massive) (and yes i know about those floss picks but it's still uncomfortable and difficult)
I am pretty religious about my oral hygiene. I have a cheap electric toothbrush and run that thing for like 4 minutes on the bottom row and same for top each night. Usually watch a YouTube video while I do it. Then floss and fluoride mouthwash. Don't always brush in the am though. Figure if I do a good enough job at night then morning rushing is just a formality. Also I fast during the day so not like there's any food bits getting in there till the evening when I eat. Dentists has few complaints about my teeth so I figure I'm doing ok.
I used to think the same about brushing in the morning, but it does serve a purpose. The bacteria in the mouth will start to create an acidic environment after a certain amount of time (16 hours, I think), which isn't great for the enamel. So a brush within in this window disrupts that buildup.
